April 22, 2016 Atlanta, Georgia

The fans asked… and Atlanta Movie Tours answered! Now fans can visit even more iconic locations from AMC’s The Walking Dead with Big Zombie Tour 3!

Big Zombie Tour 3 will debut in May, but a select group of fans will experience a special event on April 23, 2016 with guest host Beth Keener, who played Annie on The Walking Dead. Keener will provide guests with even more insider perspective as fans tour such locations as the dumpster where Nicholas met his demise and Glenn fell, where Gareth has his Bob-e-Que, the famous Esco Field Mill from the series’ opening credits, and many more season 6 locations throughout Griffin and Hampton!

Carrie Sagel Burns, Atlanta Movie Tours’ Cofounder and Chief Movie Buff, commented, “While Atlanta Movie Tours is much more than just The Walking Dead, we are big fans and if we want to see more, our fans want to see more! With the addition of this tour and the consistent updates to the Big Zombie tours 1 and 2, there’s no shortage of locations! We start in Haralson and now Hampton and Griffin, GA get to be part of the mix! These cities have experienced the same filming boom as the rest of the state with hundreds of productions choosing them as their backdrop, and we are thrilled to get to bring fans of The Walking Dead to see their spots!”

“We are excited about the opportunity to work with Atlanta Movie Tours to bring attention to the multitude of film projects, including The Walking Dead that have been filmed in Henry County.” Laura Lurker, Director of Tourism for Henry County Chamber of Commerce Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, commented.

Atlanta Movie Tours believes that a tour is only as good as its guides, affectionately referred to as “insiders” at AMT, which is why they are committed to providing fans with the absolute best. Every guide on staff is an actor or featured extra that has worked on hundreds of movies and television sets combined, including The Walking Dead. Their insider knowledge and behind-the-scenes stories are unparalleled.

Pricing for the tour is $65 for 3 hours, which includes trivia games, onboard video screens to view every tour location in action, and a group photo, which is emailed to guests after the tour. Come see why Atlanta Movie Tours is rated 5 stars on TripAdvisor and received their prestigious Certificate of Excellence in 2014 and 2015. Over 25,000 happy guests can’t be wrong!
