Netherworld – Making Fear Fun!

We were lucky enough to be invited to the VIP Party for the Grand Opening of Netherworld last weekend. And wow, was it fun!

Our love of horror is no secret here. Carrie has been going to Netherworld for years. This was Patti’s first time. And what a time it was!

Walking up, you are struck by the sheer size of the frights before you even get into the attraction. What looks like a giant Orc from Lord of the Rings greets you, eyes blazing red and menacing.

Another of our favorite haunts was the rock monster. This is so cool.

I love this big guy!

Inside the party one of the biggest attractions was the electric chair. Flip the switch and take a ride. This thing sparked, bucked and made a boodle of noise. The handles even heated up. So much fun.

Really, how often can you say you got to sit in an electric chair? Hopefully never, unless it’s at Netherworld.

Before you even hit the main event, the parking lot is crawling with spooky new friends. Take a look at who we ran into.

Vampiress Clown. But she had candy!

Patti thought the Babydoll character was especially creepy. She even had a scary baby voice.

I could ramble on and on about all the terrors that await you inside Netherworld, but that would just spoil it. I will say that they play on every fear you can think of and exceedingly well. There were so many twists and turns that you will be astounded.

That is…when you are aren’t screaming your head off.

Okay – since we’re friends, I will share just one photo from inside Netherworld. I’m not even sure I am supposed to be showing you this, so shh, don’t tell.

I've got my eye on you!

Netherworld is the nation’s #1 haunted attraction, and with good reason.

But don’t take my word for it. Go and see for yourself. Open every night from now until Halloween. I would suggest visiting during the week, when the lines aren’t so long. If you have to go on the weekend, go really early or go really late to avoid a long wait.
