First Man Review – Lights, Camera, LIFTOFF!

Thanks to our friends at Allied Integrated Marketing we were able to take part in and review the Oct 8th, FirstMan VIP Pre-Screening at Atlanta’s Regal Atlantic Station. This event included a post-screening Q&A with none other than the film’s director, Damien Chazelle and star, Ryan Gosling. Yes- You read that correctly - RYAN GOSLING!!! Our AMT Insiders were able to capture the live Q&A and have included a link here for your viewing pleasure (disregard our iPhone quality). We loved the fact that a NASA official was the moderator! #GeorgiaFilm gets another Superhero in DC’s “Black Lightning”

Superhero geek culture is alive and well in Atlanta and it's only getting stronger with comic-based t.v. shows climbing on board for filming. While Marvel has been back-to-back since Ant-Man, they have historically kept shows locked up in NYC. Recently, more studios and productions are realizing they can "fake it" here in the South and, generally speaking, the weather and ease of filming are worlds better. The Gifted, created for FOX, based on Marvel Comics' X-Men, jumped on board this past year and starting tonight DC Comics' Black Lightning will premiere on the…continue reading →

“Ring” in a New Year of Movies and Shows

The Walking Dead had its mid-season premiere this past Sunday and was watched by 12 million viewers. Some of those viewers were watching alongside AMT at Smoke Ring at our "Rise Up & Hook Up" watch party. And even though audiences were assured that going forward TWD would be less graphic than the infamous Glenn and Abraham scene at the beginning of this current season, that didn't stop them from coming back after the mid-season hiatus. As Rick's group against the Saviors grows, that promise of less graphic content only makes us wonder how the…continue reading →
